Petroleum products include transportation fuels, fuel oils for heating and electricity generation, asphalt and road oil, and feedstocks for making the chemicals.

Crude Oil
It actually comes in a variety of colors and consistencies. Depending on its chemical composition, crude oil may be black, dark brown, or tan, or it may have a red, yellow, or green tint to it.

D2
D2 is a refinery abbreviation for Gasoil. It is the second distillate from the crude oil, and can be used without reformers and additives.

En 590
EN 590 is the current standard for all automotive diesel fuel sold in the European Union member states and other European countries.

Bitumen
It is quite abundant in many parts of the world, occurs in sedimentary rock formations, and is often located close to deposits of limestone (also a sedimentary rock).

Jet fuel (Jet A-1 type aviation fuel, also called JP-1A) is used globally in turbine engines (jet engines, turboprops) in civil aviation.

LNG
Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is natural gas that has been cooled to a liquid state, at about -260° Fahrenheit, for shipping and storage.

LPG
LPG stands for “Liquefied Petroleum Gas” and the term is used to describe two Natural Gas Liquids: propane and butane, or a mix of the two
