What Are Petroleum Products?

Powering Industries, Infrastructure, and Economies

At IMP Green India, we specialize in the supply and distribution of a wide range of high-quality Petroleum Products. From fuel-grade oils to industrial-grade petrochemicals, our petroleum solutions are crucial to driving India’s growth in transportation, construction, manufacturing, and energy sectors.

What Are Petroleum Products?

Petroleum products are refined outputs derived from crude oil through various industrial processes. These fuels and lubricants play a vital role in powering vehicles, machinery, generators, factories, road infrastructure, and more. Our petroleum product range meets international standards and caters to both domestic and export markets.

Types of Petroleum Products We Offer

Crude Oil

Unrefined petroleum extracted directly from the earth, used as a raw material in refineries to produce fuel, plastics, chemicals, and more.

Diesel (D2)

Ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel suitable for transportation, heavy machinery, and generators.

EN590 (10 ppm)

High-quality Euro 5 diesel fuel with 10 parts per million sulfur content—ideal for advanced diesel engines.

Bitumen

Used extensively in road construction, waterproofing, and infrastructure projects.

Vetone

A specialized petroleum derivative used in industrial applications, lubricants, and coatings.

LDO (Light Diesel Oil)

Fuel for industrial burners, boilers, and furnaces in manufacturing plants.

FO (Furnace Oil)

Heavy fuel used in power plants and large-scale heating operations.

MMO (Mineral Motor Oil) & MPO (Mineral Processing Oil)

Essential for lubrication and machinery protection in industrial and automotive systems.

Applications of Petroleum Products

Our petroleum range supports diverse industries:

  • Transportation & Logistics – Trucks, buses, and fuel stations
  • Industrial Use – Boilers, machinery, furnaces, turbines

Crude Oil

It actually comes in a variety of colors and consistencies. Depending on its chemical composition, crude oil may be black, dark brown, or tan, or it may have a red, yellow, or green tint to it.

D2

D2 is a refinery abbreviation for Gasoil. It is the second distillate from the crude oil, and can be used without reformers and additives.

En 590

EN 590 is the current standard for all automotive diesel fuel sold in the European Union member states and other European countries.

Bitumen

It is quite abundant in many parts of the world, occurs in sedimentary rock formations, and is often located close to deposits of limestone (also a sedimentary rock).

Bio Diesal

Biodiesel is a renewable, biodegradable fuel manufactured domestically from vegetable oils, animal fats, or recycled restaurant grease.

CNG

Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), is natural gas under pressure which remains clear, odourless, and non-corrosive.

Jet one

Jet fuel (Jet A-1 type aviation fuel, also called JP-1A) is used globally in turbine engines (jet engines, turboprops) in civil aviation.

LNG

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is natural gas that has been cooled to a liquid state, at about -260° Fahrenheit, for shipping and storage.

LPG

LPG stands for “Liquefied Petroleum Gas” and the term is used to describe two Natural Gas Liquids: propane and butane, or a mix of the two
